“A holy union“

Everything is energy. Precisely why intentionally choosing the energies we mix with is essential to our mental, emotional, physical, and spiritual hygiene. We come across a variety of people on the journey of life. And while some carry a light load, others carry a heavy load of baggage. Problems that may not necessarily be ours to help with. And torments or demons we dare not go near on a normal day. Picking up a cross we are not graced for leads to meaningless suffering. There are things in life that we choose. And things that choose us, that are written for us.

Truly, all that glitters is not gold. Even when in close proximity to people, we may still not know what they are capable of. Some people mask so well that to see them for who they are requires divine disclosure. To perhaps ward us off or prepare us for a cross we are destined and graced for. Depending on the context, certain actions could be considered as out of character. But some actions, no matter how subtle reveals the level of darkness within. The type of evil that requires divine assistance for forgiveness and even possible reconciliation.

Acceptance is a fundamental act of love. Truly loving someone means we accept every part of them. Whether we approve or choose to have them in our lives or not. Ultimately, we don’t know the parameters of our love for a person until the darkness in them is directed at us. Unconditional love is a soul, godly, holy, divine quality. Though humans have the capacity to love deeply, conditioned creatures can’t produce anything unconditional. We cannot give what we do not have. But even when we don’t genuinely feel it, we can learn and practice acts of love.
