“A bag of gold”

Contentment is one big component of natural wealth. There are many benefits to this asset. For one, even when desire is present, desperation is absent. When one is in a state of desperation, there’s a high probability of doing or choosing wrong. Having this quality is also one of many ways to survive and thrive in various conditions. The level of contentment within is in direct proportion to how OKAY we are at any given moment in time.

Focusing on our blessings, or the good parts of the whole picture is a sure way to climb out of the blues. There is always something to be grateful for, tangible or intangible. A strong foundation will always weather the storm. And the storms will always come. Deciding how we want to react to a problem or disappointment influences the quality of life we live. Things won’t always go our way, and it’s usually for our own good.

Trusting the process even when it looks like there’s no progress is hard. It’s simply easier to keep moving forward when we can see gains, no matter how little. But we have to remember every path is different. Some gradually grow, while others have massive growth spurts. Regardless, we all pay our dues, some sort of inner or outer work will occur. So, no matter the situation dip into the bag of gold.
